2010 Bowl-For-Kids-Sake

March 5th and 6th, 2010, in Idaho Falls and Pocatello

Bowl-For-Kids-Sake was created by Big Brothers Big Sisters of America to benefit local chapters across the country.  The funds we raise support local recruitment efforts,  screening of adult volunteers who are interested in becoming "Bigs", and professional support and supervision of matches between "Bigs" and "Littles".  All the money we raise in this annual event stays right here in Eastern Idaho.

How Does Bowl-For-Kids Sake Work?

Everyone who signs up gets a sponsor sheet.  Then it's just a matter of asking family, friends, co-workers, and anyone else you know to support you with pledges (either a flat amount such as $25 or a per pin amount such as 20 cents/pin).  Then, your team gets together for a bowling party with all the other teams--having fun while raising money!  And don't worry if you're not an experienced bowler--if you bowl less than 100, your score is automatically raised to 100!!

So...here's what you need to do:

1)  Become a Team Captain and put together a team with three or four friends.  Name your team--be creative!!  Many teams wear costumes to show off their team name or affiliation!

2)  Each team member receives a pledge form and signs up as many sponsors as possible.  Sign up at least $100 in pledges and you'll receive a free t-shirt!!  We also award prizes for the most pledges collected by June 1st, 2010.

3)  On the day of the event, enjoy bowling, free pizza and beverages, door prizes, and more!

3) Once the results are in, we bill your sponsors.   Or, if you like, you may collect your own pledges.
